Thomas Jansen loves French language and culture, a passion that is reflected in his career. He received his Master’s in Management from Brest Business School in France. Further career stations from 2007 to 2008 were the Dusseldorf office of the French auditing firm Mazars. He then moved to the Chair of Business Taxation at Helmut Schmidt University of Hamburg and joined the International Tax Institute of the University of Hamburg. Since 2016, Jansen has focused on national and international tax law at nbs partners. His expertise is particularly sought-after in the assessment of cross-border transactions in terms of income tax and VAT. Jansen has been passing on his knowledge to the next generation at the FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management in Hamburg since 2016. He enjoys going on motorcycle tours to recharge his batteries for work.
